National Hispanic Recognition Package for 2020-2021

  • Presidential Scholarship
  • $1,000 per year stipend for four years (8 semesters)
  • First year of undergraduate on-campus housing at regular room rate (based on
    assignment by Housing and Residential Communities)


To be considered for the National Hispanic Recognition Scholarship at UA, students must be recognized by the College Board National Recognition Program. More details about this program can be found here.

  1. Take the PSAT/NMSQT by October of junior year and check the Hispanic or Latinx category on your answer sheet
  2. College Board will invite eligible students to apply for the program online.
  3. If you are awarded National Hispanic Recognition by the College Board National Recognition Programs, your high school counselor or principal will receive a mailed award letter and certificate in September of your senior year.
  4. Please submit your official award letter to

Please keep in mind that the following list does not include every step of the enrollment process or the financial aid process.
