Capstone Scholars Day 2008

Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarships, Capstone Scholars Day is an invitation-only event that is scheduled for Saturday, January 19, 2008. Participants take part in enrichment activities designed to introduce them to the academic and cultural aspects of life at UA.

Typical activities include meeting with current UA students, discussing the students' intended majors with representatives from UA colleges and schools, interacting with representatives from UA Honors College, and learning about the different Residential Community options.

In previous years, attendance was required in order to receive scholarship funding for Capstone Scholars Day. Attendance is no longer a requirement in order to receive offers for the various sources of academic scholarships. The only requirement to receive scholarships is that a student make application for admission and scholarship and be admitted to the University by December 1, 2007.
